Siirt University Directorate of Information Technology was founded in 2007 with the establishment of the university.
Duties and Responsibilities
IT Directorate is the administrative unit that carries out the informatics services of the university.
IT Directorate is responsible of providing service to both students and staff in education and academic studies with the most up-to-date and fast technology.
With the web services prepared and published, the directorate aims to promote our university in the country and abroad and act in order to help our staff and students with software production, maintenance and technical services.
The facilities developed and implemented to provide high quality services are as follows:
To arrange the computer network by protecting it from all kinds of outside threats.
. To make use of technological devices as much as possible through softwarein academic and administrative units.
To provide maintenance, repair and operation of IT devices.
To ensure that available sources are used in the most appropriate and efficient way in order to carry out service activities economically and effectively.
